The goals of the office are as follow:

• To bring renewal in the Holy Spirit to heart of the Church.
• To invite the Catholic community to share in the the experience of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit through the Life in the Spirit Seminars.
• To promote and develop prayer groups throughout the Diocese of Trenton.
• To promote monthly clusters for prayer group members.
• To inform, educate and empower the faithful in the charismatic gifts which are given by the Holy spirit for spiritual growth and for the enrichment of the Church.
• To provide speakers on related topics for diocesan and parish organizations.
• To provide Masses followed by prayers for healing, and to offer healing and deliverance ministry for those who request it.
• To participate in and promote the annual NJ State Charismatic Conference.
• To keep members informed on developments in renewal through the charismatic newsletter, Hearts Aflame.
